## WHY PLACEMENTS RATHER THAN HIRES

Specialist research capability is required intensively and intermittently. Suit architecture development needs depth in mesh parametrisation during one design phase, materials characterisation during another, and physiological modelling during a third.

Permanent specialists in each area would be under-utilised between phases. A researcher already working at the frontier of a specific problem, placed against a defined deliverable, covers the requirement at the depth it needs.
