Neurom Innovations announced a strategic partnership with Metakosmos in February 2025. The Hyderabad-based firm works in space technology, artificial intelligence, digital twins and spatial computing.

The stated goal is next-generation suit technology improving operator flexibility, safety and performance. Neurom identified Kernel360 as the centre of the collaboration, describing it as the first commercially accessible bioastronautics suite covering pre-flight, in-flight and post-flight phases.

## DIGITAL TWIN CAPABILITY

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine defines a digital twin as personalised to its physical counterpart, dynamically updated with data from it, predictive, and used to inform decisions, with information flowing both ways.

A 2025 scoping review of 149 human digital twin studies found around twelve percent met those criteria in full. Two mentioned verification, validation and uncertainty quantification. Most systems described as twins are digital shadows: descriptive rather than predictive.

## WHERE IT SITS IN THE PLATFORM

Prediction running alongside physical measurement produces two outcomes. Where they converge within tolerance, the model's validated envelope extends and cases inside it need not all be physically tested. Where they diverge, the divergence isolates a fault to either the model or the hardware.

## REGIONAL CONTEXT

Neurom cited Hyderabad's technology sector and its research and development network as a factor in the collaboration.

The digital twin, analytics and simulation layers of a human systems platform are software problems before they are aerospace problems. The partnership followed the opening of the Metakosmos India office in December 2024 and sits within the company's broader [Indo-Pacific position](https://www.metakosmos.co/partners).

Pre-flight covers baseline characterisation and readiness. In-flight covers real-time monitoring and alerting. Post-flight covers debrief, exposure records and model refinement, which is the phase that feeds operational data back into the [telemetry layer](https://www.metakosmos.co/pulse).
