The Kosmosuit was a spacesuit. It is now the hardware expression of a six-layer human systems platform.

## STARTING ARCHITECTURE

The Kosmosuit was described at the time of the 2024 pre-seed round as an integrated multi-environment platform: a base layer, exosuits and proprietary telemetry software, built modularly for a range of conditions.

## THREE DRIVERS OF THE CHANGE

The telemetry layer outgrew the garment. Kernel360, launched in late 2024 and recognised with an Australian Good Design Award, applied across land, sea, air and space and integrated third-party applications.

Validation became standalone capability. [Test rigs, human surrogates and digital twin modelling](https://www.metakosmos.co/prove) carry value independent of any single suit programme and can be offered as a service.

Demand arrived from outside space. Industrial, defence and subsea interest in the monitoring and validation layers came without reference to spacesuits.

The [Human Systems Infrastructure Platform](https://www.metakosmos.co/platform) runs six layers: [CORE](https://www.metakosmos.co/core), [PULSE](https://www.metakosmos.co/pulse), [PROVE](https://www.metakosmos.co/prove), [DEPLOY](https://www.metakosmos.co/deploy), [LABS](https://www.metakosmos.co/labs) and [ENGAGE](https://www.metakosmos.co/engage).

The Kosmosuit became the hardware expression of that structure, with CORE variants across four domains plus the thermal management garment.

## ECONOMICS

A bespoke suit amortises development across one programme. A platform amortises a qualified common core across configurations and customers, with variants certified against the delta.

NASA's shift to purchasing moonwalking services created the same dynamic across the sector.

## UNCHANGED

The founding proposition has not changed since the stealth period: the human is the constraint in extreme environment operations, and protection requires integrating hardware, data, validation and deployment.

## VARIANT STRUCTURE

CORE carries land, sea, air and space configurations plus the CORE-T liquid ventilation and cooling garment shared across the family.
