An Australian Business Number, a DUNS number and an NCAGE code are held by Metakosmos.
The DUNS number is the global business identifier used for supplier verification across government and corporate procurement systems. The NCAGE code identifies an organisation within the NATO codification system and is required for entities supplying into NATO and allied defence procurement.
Neither confers capability. Both remove an administrative barrier that stops suppliers before technical evaluation.
Allied supply chain diversification is stated policy across defence and space. The supplier base for suits, life support and human systems telemetry is narrow.
AUKUS Pillar II identifies capabilities integrated by design and interchangeable across partner militaries as a requirement.
The available route for an emerging supplier is subcontractor: subsystems, components or validation and testing services into established prime relationships.
Switching costs in human-rated and safety-critical systems include requalifying the replacement.
Pulse.Land addresses soldier systems, special operations, CBRN units and dismounted modernisation. Pulse.Joint addresses multi-domain operational intelligence.
Sea domain capability addresses naval research and military diving. Air domain capability addresses aircrew protection and monitoring.
Metakosmos has worked with the Department of Defence since 2020 on production process improvement, alongside CSIRO engagement.

Defence supply carries continuing requirements around export control, security, quality management and data handling. Multi-domain operation is managed by keeping controlled elements in defined modules rather than distributed through the core architecture.
Registration permits contracting. Selection requires qualification evidence: traceable requirements, calibrated instrumentation, acceptance criteria defined before test, and documentation from which an independent party could reproduce results.
