[Suited for the Stars](https://www.newsfilecorp.com/release/237836/Metakosmoss-Journey-to-Transform-Human-Spaceflight-Takes-Center-Stage-in-a-Bold-New-Film) was announced in January 2025 and is streaming globally on Apple TV.

## ORIGIN

Metakosmos was registered in Sydney in 2020 by Kiriti Rambhatla and Renuka Rambhatla and operated in stealth for two years, launching publicly in 2022.

The founding thesis was that human spaceflight's constraint is the human rather than the vehicle, and that suits should be built as platforms serving multiple extreme environments.

## RECORD

- 2023 — Australian Space Awards nomination in two categories. TechConnect World Innovation Showcase. NSW Space Research Network seed funding for UTS collaboration on suit form and fit. Space category win at the inaugural SXSW Sydney pitch competition. Memorandum of understanding with Digilogic Systems.

- March 2024 — $250,000 Australian Space Agency Moon to Mars grant, one of twelve projects sharing more than $9 million aligned with NASA's Artemis programme.

- July 2024 — Engineering Business of the Year at AusSpace24.

- August 2024 — $2 million pre-seed round led by Alzadhar Al-Sanai.

- October–November 2024 — Kernel360 launch and Australian Good Design Award.

The [Human Systems Infrastructure Platform](https://www.metakosmos.co/platform) runs six layers: [CORE](https://www.metakosmos.co/core) hardware, [PULSE](https://www.metakosmos.co/pulse) telemetry, [PROVE](https://www.metakosmos.co/prove) validation, [DEPLOY](https://www.metakosmos.co/deploy) field platforms, [LABS](https://www.metakosmos.co/labs) research and [ENGAGE](https://www.metakosmos.co/engage) public programmes, across [four domains](https://www.metakosmos.co/domains).

## STATUS

A documentary is a public account of a company and its work. It is not a technical certification and confers no operational qualification.

The platform is pre-qualification for flight systems.
