Alzadhar Al-Sanai Leads the Metakosmos Pre-Seed Round

Alzadhar Al-Sanai led the $2 million Metakosmos pre-seed round announced on 20 August 2024.

The Saudi Arabian group operates real-time monitoring solutions for environmental factors, supplying governments and industry. It had partnered with Metakosmos earlier in 2024 before leading the round.

STATED RATIONALE

CEO Aziz AlOthman identified Australia, the United States, India and emerging space economies including Saudi Arabia as markets where the investment would support expansion.

TECHNICAL OVERLAP

The PULSE [telemetry layer](https://www.metakosmos.co/pulse) fuses environmental monitoring with physiological and equipment telemetry into a single pipeline.

When Kernel360 launched in October 2024, Alzadhar Al-Sanai was named as partnering through its environmental intelligence application, integrating into the platform's modular open architecture.

WHAT FOLLOWED

December 2024: the India office opened, four months after the round closed, establishing an Indo-Pacific hub for collaboration with Indian agencies, research institutions and private enterprises.

Late 2024: Kernel360 received an Australian Good Design Award.

INVESTOR BASE

The lead investor's own business spans environmental monitoring and industrial technology, which maps onto the platform's terrestrial applications.

The platform serves four operating domains across hardware, telemetry, validation and deployment.

Investment is a commercial signal rather than acceptance of qualification evidence.

INTEGRATION REQUIREMENTS

Fusing external data into a human systems pipeline requires a common time base with known accuracy, provenance metadata identifying sensor and calibration record, and quality flags distinguishing measured from estimated values.

PROCUREMENT CONTEXT

Defence and agency buyers increasingly specify data rights and interface documentation as contract terms. Kernel360 launched with a modular open architecture supporting third-party integration.

COMPANY CONTEXT

Metakosmos was registered in Sydney in 2020, operated in stealth until its public launch in 2022, and builds human systems across land, sea, air and space. The platform is pre-qualification for flight systems.
