[Startup Daily reported](https://www.startupdaily.net/topic/funding/spacesuit-startup-metakosmos-flies-high-with-2-million-pre-seed-raise/) that the August 2024 round would accelerate the innovation pipeline, advance spacesuit technology and launch spin-off applications across multiple industries.

## SUIT TECHNOLOGY

Kernel360 launched in October and November 2024, integrating telemetry with modular suit design across land, sea, air and space. It received an Australian Good Design Award, and its development was supported by the Australian [Space](https://www.metakosmos.co/space) Agency's Moon to Mars Supply Chain Capability Improvement Grant.

[CORE](https://www.metakosmos.co/core) now covers life support architecture, environmental control, suit integration, modular payload interfaces and bio-instrumentation, with the SENSORSUIT base layer and four domain variants.

## INNOVATION PIPELINE

A validation layer was added. [PROVE](https://www.metakosmos.co/prove) runs three functions: [SUITRIX](https://www.metakosmos.co/prove/suitrix) test rigs, [SYNHUM](https://www.metakosmos.co/prove/synhum) human surrogates and [SYNSUIT](https://www.metakosmos.co/prove/synsuit) digital twin prediction.

[DEPLOY](https://www.metakosmos.co/deploy) carries systems into operational environments through the [HELIOS](https://www.metakosmos.co/deploy/helios) platform, covering deep ocean, stratospheric, CBRN and orbital analogue conditions.

## MULTI-INDUSTRY APPLICATIONS

[Land](https://www.metakosmos.co/land) covers CBRN, polar, firefighting, field research and industrial operations. [Sea](https://www.metakosmos.co/sea) covers saturation diving and offshore survival. [Air](https://www.metakosmos.co/air) covers high-altitude flight and military free-fall. Space covers EVA, launch-entry and IVA, and analogue missions.

## GEOGRAPHIC

December 2024: India office opened. February 2025: Neurom Innovations partnership announced. October 2025: platform presentation at the 76th International Astronautical Congress in Sydney.

## STATUS

The platform is pre-qualification for flight systems.

## RESEARCH AND PARTNERSHIPS

Collaborations run with the University of Technology Sydney on computational design, the Kolling Institute on musculoskeletal research, and CSIRO and the Department of Defence on production processes. Research is coordinated through [LABS](https://www.metakosmos.co/labs).

## REGISTRATIONS

The company holds Australian business identifiers alongside DUNS and NCAGE codes, the latter required for supply into allied defence procurement.
