## THE COST STRUCTURE

Suits have historically been specified for one mission profile, sized for one crew, qualified against one requirement set and supported by one logistics chain. Development cost amortised across a single programme.

The supplier base narrowed to organisations able to carry the full stack under that model.

## PLATFORM AMORTISATION

A qualified common core carries certification once. Variants are certified against the delta rather than from scratch, spreading development cost across configurations and customers.

## TRAINING

Training capacity is constrained by facility access, suit availability and instructor time.

## ACCOMMODATION

Spaceflight human performance data has been drawn from a narrow range of body types.

Anthropometric accommodation across a wide range is specified as a design requirement, and applies across the [four operating domains](https://www.metakosmos.co/domains) where workforces are more varied than astronaut corps.

## SUPPLIER BASE

Analyst databases list Metakosmos alongside ILC Dover, Final Frontier Design and Orbital Outfitters. The market has been among the most concentrated in aerospace.

## POSITION

Metakosmos remains pre-qualification for flight systems. Its near-term position rests on architecture, validation infrastructure and multi-domain applicability rather than flight heritage.
